Jeremy Renner In “Critical But Stable” Condition In Reno After Weather-Related Accident While Plowing Snow

"Actor Jeremy Renner, known for his roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and The Mayor of Kingstown, was rushed to the hospital after being involved in a weather-related accident while plowing snow. His condition is described as critical but stable, and he is receiving care with his family by his side," according to a statement from his spokesperson.

As the winter storm on New Year's Eve hit the region near Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe, about 25 miles from Reno, actor Jeremy Renner's home was affected by the power outages that affected 35,000 homes across Northern Nevada's Washoe, Carson, Douglas, Storey, and Lyon counties, according to the Reno Gazette-Journal. Renner, who received Oscar nominations for Best Actor in 2010 for The Hurt Locker and Supporting actor the following year for The Town, stars in the returning series The Mayor of Kingstown, premiering on January 15 on Paramount+. The show, created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon and produced by 101 Studios, Bosque Ranch Productions, MTV Entertainment Studios, and Paramount Network, follows Renner's previous appearance in Sheridan's 2017 drama Wind River.
